My Practical Experience Week By Tina Ljungqvist

I worked at the library with a woman called Kerstin. Well, actually I didn't see her very much because I worked in a lot of different places with other people. Kerstin also went away on Thursday and didn't come back on Friday. She had vacation. But that didn't bother me. I had so many things to do and I met a lot of other nice people.

Books are something that I am really interested in. Because of that I went to the library and asked the woman in the reception if it was possible for me to come and have my PEW there. She said that she didn't know, so in the evening I wrote an e-mail to the library. The next day I got the answer from Kerstin. She explained that I could come and meet her at the library and talk about what I was going to work with. I was so happy and proud of myself! Finally I had fixed a place to work in.

One of the best things about working at the library was that everyone was so nice to me. I was in the reception several times and there I met Kent. He was really funny! When a person came to him he said "Hey! What can I do to make your day better than it already is, 'cause you look very happy?"

It's hard to come up with bad things about my PEW. I had such a great time! But one bad thing was that I hardly had any breaks. The only break I had was an hour during lunch and then I had to work for three more hours.

If we will have the opportunity to do this next year too I absolutely want to go back to the library. You can work with so many things there, so you never get bored. And of course I want to meet all the wonderful people again!
